Safety

The Clovis Police Department provides security and law enforcement for the college. Twenty-four hour patrol and dispatch services are provided through the 911 emergency telephone number.   Campus Security Officers may be reached by contacting the Information Desk at  575.769.2811 or 575.769.4199. 

Students and visitors witnessing a crime, suspicious activity, or emergency on campus are asked to report the incident to the Information Desk. A copy of the Campus Security Policy is on file in the library along with the annual report of crime on campus.
  • Possession, use or sale of alcoholic beverages on campus is prohibited
  • Possession, use or sale of illegal drugs on campus is prohibited
  • If a sex offense occurs you are requested to notify the Clovis Police Department immediately at 911. It is important to preserve all evidence. The campus security department will assist you in reporting the offense to the Police Department, if you request help.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Possession, use, or sale of alcoholic beverages on campus is prohibited and violators will be dealt with according to the laws of the State of New Mexico.

ILLEGAL DRUGS
Possession, use, or sale of illegal drugs on campus is prohibited and violators will be dealt with according to Federal and State drug laws.

SEX OFFENSES
If a sex offense occurs, you are requested to notify the Clovis Police Department immediately at “911.” It is important to preserve all evidence. The campus security department will assist you in reporting the offense to the Police Department, if you request help.
