General Information

How to Apply/Applications
Applications are accepted for posted vacancies only. Applicants may not apply directly with the hiring department. A separate application, reference letters, and transcripts must be submitted for each position. A resume may supplement the application, but cannot be accepted in lieu of an application form. Only original application forms will be accepted with the original signature of the applicant. Candidates may fax an application to 575.769.4190 and forward the original application by mail. Unless all instructions are complied with an individual will not be considered an applicant

Deadline Dates
Openings are posted with closing dates and all applications must be received in the Human Resource Services office by the close of the work day (4:30 p.m.) or other specified time on those dates. Mailed applications received after this date, regardless of postmarks, will not be considered.

Review of Applications
All applications are reviewed by a Search Committee after the closing date. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of relevant education and experience. Candidates for interviews will be contacted by telephone. Because of large applicant pools and the number of qualified applicants, you may not be contacted for an interview each time you apply.

Applications are valid only for specific openings and cannot be transferred to another position.

In compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, all persons hired after November 6, 1986 will be required to provide proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States.
