We offer a no-cost, one-on-one tutoring for all adults in need:
Basic Literacy Tutoring
Available for students that need assistance with basic reading, writing and math skills. The lessons are focused on the real needs of the students (job-related, life skills, family literacy, citizenship, etc.)
English Practice for non-native speakers
Available for students who are English language learners that need literacy assistance outside of the ESL classes offered by the ABE program, or whose schedule does not allow them to attend classes.
Basic Pre–GED instruction
Available for students who are preparing to take the GED but are not quite ready for the GED classes offered by the Adult Basic Education program at CCC.
Conversational English Practice
Available for students who are English as a Second Language (ESL) learners that would like to practice their conversational English with a native English speaker.
Citizenship Interview Assistance
Available for students who are preparing to take their U.S. Citizenship test that would like to practice answering sample interview questions with a native English speaker.
