The TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) assesses basic reading, math, and language skills. Upon enrolling in the ABE program at the Center for Student Success, students take the TABE to gain a clear perspective on their academic strengths and weaknesses. According to the results of this assessment, an instructor will place students in the appropriate classes or design a highly efficient individualized educational plan for those wishing to follow an independent study program.
The TABE scores also offer students predicted GED scores which are very useful in helping students determine when they will be ready to take the GED.
