Dual Credit
Earn credit for high school and college...
As a high school student you can earn both high school and college credit for courses.

Clovis Community College has dual credit agreements with 26 area high schools.

To be considered for the program, students must meet the following conditions...
  • Have completed sophomore year and be classified as a high school junior or senior
  • Overall high school grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Dual Credit Registration form completed and signed by an authorized school official on file in the CCC Office of Admissions and Records
  • Be enrolled in CCC courses for credit, not audit
  • Meet the mandatory assessment and placement requirements in the CCC course catalog
  • Enroll for no more than 7 credit hours
Guidelines...
  • Academic credit earned in this special program may be applied toward a CCC associate degree. This academic credit is granted by CCC and does not bind any other college to accept credits.
  • Students in this program are subject to the same academic and discipline policies as regular admission students.
  • All fees are the same as for a regularly enrolled student. There is no financial aid available for high school students.
  • The student must consent to the release of CCC grades to their high school.
Contact your school guidance counselor for registration information.
