Note: the following resources are for CCC faculty, staff, and student use only!
Many CCC library services can be accessed without a special password.
Passwords are changed each semester.
To obtain a password, send an email to ccclib@clovis.edu. Specify which resource you wish to use, your name, classes you are enrolled in, and an e-mail address or phone number where we can contact you. You will receive a validated password within 24-hours. (Time may be longer if requested over a weekend or holiday).

ProQuest
This database contains 1600 titles indexed and abstracted; 400 titles are full text. Special databases include: criminal justice, nursing, medical and education journals, and N.M. newspapers.
CINAHL Plus with Full Text
CINAHL Plus with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive source of full text for nursing & allied health journals, providing full text for more than 560 journals indexed in CINAHL. Of those, nearly 400 have cover-to-cover indexing in CINAHL. With more than 600,000 full-text articles dating back to 1937, CINAHL Plus with Full Text is the definitive research tool for all areas of nursing and allied health literature.
NewsBank
NewsBank can be used to find newspaper and periodical citations and many full-text articles from over 500 newspapers and newswires going back to 1992. It has:
- Full-text articles for selected general periodicals.
- Daily updates with news headlines.
- Charts, photos, and curriculum activities tied to selected articles.
FirstSearch
15 databases including:
- ArticleFirst- over 12,500 periodicals indexed & abstracted (some full text)
- ContentsFirst (lists tables of contents of selected journals)
- ERIC (education citations and abstracts)

Westlaw Campus
Westlaw Campus is an online legal research tool designed specifically for undergraduate and graduate students who need to research law-related issues. In addition to primary legal materials (federal and state cases, statutes and administrative law), Westlaw Campus offers secondary resources such as American Law Reports (ALR), American Jurisprudence 2nd (Am. Jur. 2d) and law reviews.
EBSCOhost
EBSCOhost provides access to full-text information on a broad range of topics including general interest, business, health and multi-cultural. Information in EBSCOhost is from current and authoritative journals, magazines, pamphlets, newsletters and reference books on a wide variety of topics.
Lexis-Nexis
Business, legal, medical and reference information. Citations and some full-text.
Gale Group Infotrac
Provides one-stop access to general interest magazines, business periodicals, reference books, maps, historical images, and newspaper articles. Includes Spanish index, Informé and expanded business index.
WilsonWeb Readers Guide Full Text Select
Searchable full text of articles from some 215 journals as far back as 1994, many of them peer-reviewed.
