Kids College Non-Credit Classes

Each summer Clovis Community College provides quality educational experiences for children ages 6 to 16. Classes are held on campus over the 8-week summer session in June and July and include a range of topics such as physical education, fine art, current events, crafts, and others.

The length of each class varies; some may run the full 8-weeks and others may be 2-week classes or half-day workshops.

Most classes have a fee to cover instructor salaries and materials needed, however, free workshops are also offered.

A sampling of course offerings include: 

A Green Workshop for Kids – Ages 6-12
Beginning through Intermediate Tennis
Creative Writing/Poetry
Ceramics – Ages 6-8 & 9-12
Wheel-thrown Pottery – Ages 10-15
Ceramics – Ages 6-8 & 9-12
Wheel-thrown Pottery – Ages 10-15
Dogs, Wolves, and Other K9’s – Ages 6-12
Build a Bird Feeder – Ages 7 and Up
Birdhouse Building – Ages 7 and Up
Internet Safety for Kids
Volleyball Camp
Principles of Drawing – Ages 8 and Up
Sign Language for Kids – Ages 10-16
Kids Dance! – Ages 5-10
