Associate of Applied Science in Electrical Apprenticeship
Degree Requirements
Related Requirements (9 credits)

The AAS Electrical Apprenticeship Program provides training through a combination of classroom instruction, labs, and on-the-job training.  This program is approved through the State Apprenticeship Council and the U.S. Department of Labor.  Electrical apprentices spend a minimum of 144 hours per year in classroom training, and 2000 hours per year learning on-the-job skills as paid employees of a sponsoring organization.  The Electrical Apprenticeship Program is a 4-year program.  At the completion of the coursework and examinations, students are licensed as an electrical journeyperson.  Students pursuing the Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Apprenticeship must complete the General Education and Related Requirements as well as successfully complete the Program Requirements.
