Associate of Science in Health and Physical Education
Paramedics traditionally provide emergency medical treatment in the community

The Department of Health and Physical Education offers course work leading to an Associate of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. The program is designed to meet either of two objectives: (1) To complete an associate degree that will allow the student to transfer into a bachelor’s degree program in physical education, athletic training, coaching, or fitness technology (2) To complete an associate degree and pursue a career in a corporate fitness or health club setting, instructing activity classes, or performing basic fitness assessment tests.
