President's Message
Welcome to Clovis Community College!

Welcome and thank you for visiting our virtual campus at www.clovis.edu! Clovis Community College offers its students many opportunities for education and career advancement, with 34 different programs of study and six occupational technical career areas. Since 1991, CCC has awarded 3,681 associate degrees and 1,285 certificates.

CCC’s student body reflects the diverse population of our service area. A “typical” student could be a recent high school graduate or an adult returning to school after many years of working in our community. Many students take a full load of classes, but approximately half of our students attend on a part-time basis.

CCC offers quality education at an extremely affordable cost, but, for those who need financial assistance, there are Federal and State grants and loans, scholarships, and student employment. The college’s Financial Aid Office serves close to 2000 students each year, providing them with the information they need to take advantage of all of the resources available to them. If you are interested in financial aid, I encourage you to get started on your application as early as possible.

Our mission is to provide you with all the tools you need to achieve your educational goals, and you will have many resources available to you at CCC. Our Student Services Center will assist you in getting started with your admission process. The Center’s friendly staff will guide you through the process until you are satisfied with your individual admission packet. Once you are enrolled and attending classes, CCC will continue to support your learning. The college’s W. D. Dabbs library has a large collection of books and magazines, as well as many on-line databases. If you need tutoring, it is available in the Mabel Lee Hawkins Center for Student Success, and the Computer Resource Center has the most up-to-date computers for you to use for research and assignments. As a CCC student, you will also have access to the college’s Health and Fitness Center, which includes a complete work-out facility, a gymnasium, racquetball courts, weight rooms, aerobic studios, and a lap and exercise pool.

Again, thank you for visiting our virtual campus. If you would like to visit us in person, I encourage you to come for a campus tour. I hope to see you in the near future!
