information to help you interpret the scores and will indicate the course

Note: The site referenced below is NOT a CCC product. It is offered as an outside resource in preparation for testing. You may not use the results of MyMathTest to substitute for ACCUPLACER test results.
MyMathTest is a free diagnostic site for arithmetic and algebra, created to help you test your skills in pre-algebra and introductory algebra and learn your strengths and weaknesses. You can use MyMathTest to see how well prepared you are for college-level mathematics and college placement tests. On this Web site, you can take a test covering topics in basic mathematics and introductory algebra. You'll receive a study plan based
on your test results, that tells you what topics you need to
study. The site contains
suggestions for additional learning resources and materials.
When and where you can take the Accuplacer...
The ACCUPLACER assessment is available on a WALK-IN basis in the Testing Office, located in the Dr. H.A. Miller Student Services Center. You must present a photo ID in order to take the ACCUPLACER. CCC has ACCUPLACER Proctors located at various sites. It may also be available for military members serving overseas. Send an email to jennifer.bussey@clovis.edu for more information.

| What does the Accuplacer cost? |
The test is free if you are taking the placement test for registration for classes at CCC. Otherwise, there may be a fee. Contact the Testing Office for more information.
How long does the Accuplacer take?
All tests are done on computers and are untimed. The length of time varies from one to three hours (for the entire battery of three tests) depending on individual students. Please note: if you have no computer skills, contact our Center for Student Success to arrange for a free tutorial on basic computer use.

Results of computerized tests are available immediately.
Can you use a calculator?
No. Calculators, notebooks, etc. are not allowed in the testing room. Scratch paper and pencils are provided, but, these must be turned in at the completion of the test.

| You can receive accommodations for a disability... |
Students with disabilities who need accommodations must have ADA documentation. You'll need to make prior arrangements with the Testing Director or Testing Lab Assistant by calling 575.769.4019 or 575.769.4125.
