TRiO has a Direct Grant Aid (DGA) that is awarded in the Spring and Fall semesters. To be considered for the DGA, students must be:
- In the first two years of postsecondary education and receiving Federal Pell Grant (less than 92 attempted hours)
- Must have unmet financial need as verified by the financial aid office
- Must be in good academic standing and maintain a GPA of 2.5
- Must have a completed IEP and participate in at least fifteen hours of TRiO CASA Services by the deadline
- Must complete College Student Inventory by the deadline
