Students studying web technology at Clovis Community College can achieve quick success in key areas by earning certificates while they still work toward earning an associate's degree. Studying web technology familiarizes students with concepts of computing concepts, basic networking, multimedia, HTML, and databases. 

Certificate of Completion in Web Technology

The Web Technology Certificate of Completion provides students with a solid foundation in basic computing skills and web design. Topics presented help train students to design and develop interactive Web pages. The Web Certificate program is intended to help students prepare for the industry recognized Computing Core Certification (IC3) and Certified Internet Web (CIW) Foundations Associate certifications. This certificate is available completely online.

Certificate of Achievement in Certified Internet Web (CIW) Foundations Associate

The Certified Internet Web (CIW) Foundations Associate Certificate of Achievement is based on a vendor-neutral, industry recognized certification. Students who successfully complete the series of courses have a unique understanding of Internet business, website design, and data networking. The objectives of the certification include learning the tasks involved in various Web Technology job roles; achieving Web page development skills; developing ways to work as a productive part of a website development team; and understanding the fundamentals of networking, Internet protocols, and network security. This certificate is available completely online.

The Web Technology Certificate of Completion consists of 23 credit hours. All classes are available entirely online and some are offered in the classroom.

The Certificate of Achievement in Certified Internet Web (CIW) Foundations Associate consists of 11 credit hours. All classes are available entirely online and some are offered in the classroom.

These classes lead into the Associate of Applied Science degrees, which and can be completed within 2 years.

Students interested in CCC's Computer Information Systems programs can apply for general admission to the college and then file a degree plan with an Academic Advisor.
