Logging Into Your Course

Effective Fall 2008
All online courses are on the WebCT course delivery system.

You will be able to login to your course anytime, anywhere you have Internet access.  To do so you will need to have Internet Explorer installed on your computer.  Follow the steps below to login to your course.

1. Open Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
   
2. In the address field of your internet browser,
   type:  webct.clovis.edu (no www.)
   
   
   
3. The WebCT webpage appears. Click on the words Log in to my WebCT.
   
4. Click the User ID field.
   
   
   
5. Type in your User ID:
   
   You can retrieve your WebCT User ID by clicking here.
   
6. Press the tab key on your keyboard.
   
7. Type your Password.
   
   Your initial password consists of your two-digit birth month + your two-digit birth day + your two-digit birth year.
   
   Example: John Smith's password who was born on January 9, 1959 would be 010959.
   
   Important Note: Your WebCT Password is the same as your Online Services User ID password. If you have changed your Online Services User ID password, use the new password to log into WebCT.
   
8. Click Log in.
   
9. Your homepage should appear with your online courses.
