Clovis Community College Announces National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development Recipients...Each year, the National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) recognizes teachers at community colleges throughout the U.S. for their dedication to excellence in education. This award is a formal recognition of teaching excellence that carries special significance because nominees are selected by their peers. Full and Part time faculty are nominated through the Faculty Evaluation Committee. Nominations are based upon teaching and division chair evaluations along with letters of nomination.
This year's NISOD Teaching Excellence Award recipient's are Michael Powers, Instructor in History; Janett Johnson, Instructor in English; Ricardo Arredondo, Adjunct Instructor in Spanish; and Jeanette Biddle, Adjunct Instructor in Communication. They will be honored at the NISOD conference in Austin, Texas this spring.
