Clovis Community College's Industrial Technology Director...

Clovis NM - Delane McUne, Industrial Technology Director, is one of six faculty members to receive the Outstanding Faculty of Industrial Technology Award from the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) during the ATMAE 2009 Conference awards banquet on November 13, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Other faculty recognized are from Ivy Tech Community College, South Bend, Indiana; Northeast State Community College, Blountville, Tennessee; University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, Arkansas; and College of the Redwoods, Eureka, California.

This award has been given annually since 1993 by the Community College and Technical Institute Division of ATMAE in recognition of exceptional faculty members who are teaching industrial technology programs. Recipients are selected based on excellence in teaching and service to the profession. Upon receiving the award, McUne said, "I'm thrilled to receive this award from ATMAE. My colleagues honor me by recognizing the work I've done."
