Clovis - Eleonore Isham, Vice President for Information and Educational Technology, will be retiring from Clovis Community College on June 30, 2007.

During Dr. Isham's 27 year career with CCC she provided leadership for the use of information technology and its potential impact on the institution. She led the implementation and support of administrative and instructional technologies including the management information system, telecommunications, and distance learning.

Isham states, "There have been many changes in technology during my tenure at CCC. Initially, our campus users had to be convinced to use technology. Today, technology is ubiquitous and services are expected to be available 24 X 7. The continuous migration to new and expanding technologies could not have been accomplished with out the talented and dedicated IT staff. My heartfelt thanks go out to those who served on the IT team over the past 27 years. It is all about teamwork and these great people moved the College forward through myriads of computers and operating systems."

After retiring, she is looking forward to new ventures in the area of holistic healing and plans to attend one of the healing arts school in New Mexico.

Dr. Isham was one of the first administrators of the College and her dedication is admired and respected by her numerous colleagues and peers. She has assisted CCC in moving forward as a leader in the area of higher education.
