Three CCC Instructors Selected for NISOD Excellence Awards
Three Clovis Community College instructors recently received accolades for their pioneering efforts during this past year’s pandemic to make higher education accessible and exciting for both students and faculty. The National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) has announced three CCC instructors as winners of this year’s NISOD Excellence Awards. Those winners include: Paul Blair, Brandon Finney, and Melanie Lotz.
“The extraordinary work of these faculty members includes not only what they do for their students and colleagues, but what they do for the communities in which they live and work,” said CCC President Dr. Charles Nwankwo. “I am incredibly proud of our faculty and congratulate them on these NISOD Excellence Awards.”
According to the NISOD website, NISOD member colleges, using their own criteria, submit the names of men and women each year who have demonstrated commitment and contribution to their students and colleagues. The NISOD Excellence Awards were established in 1991 to provide NISOD-member colleges with an opportunity to recognize individuals doing extraordinary work on their campuses. Since then, more than 30,000 recipients have been honored with the award by their colleges.
