Computer Information Systems
The Computer Information Systems program at CCC offers students three areas of emphasis constructed around industry-desired skills and certifications.

Information Technology (Microsoft Systems)
Learn the skills and knowledge to prepare you for a career designing, implementing, and administering systems using Microsoft products.
  • Work with current software
  • Attend small classes
  • Receive individual attention
  • Prepare for industry recognized certifications
  • Gain practical hands-on experience

It’s all happening in the world of Information Technology.

Networking
This is an exciting opportunity to enter a promising and rewarding career in computer networking.

The Cisco Networking Academy Program teaches students to design, build, and maintain computer networks.

Students can complete this program by attending class one or two nights a week for three semesters. (18 months)
  • As a Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) you can enjoy a challenging career.
  • Receive practical hands-on experience with Cisco software and equipment.
  • Classes are small – limited to 15 students.
Levels 1 through 4 of the Academy program, equivalent to 280 hours of instruction, provide students with a basic foundation in networking. Students who successfully complete this portion of the program are eligible to earn Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA™) certification.

CIS 102, Networking Concepts, offered Fall semesters on Tuesday night covers the first semester of the Cisco curriculum.

Web Technology
CCC’s Web Technology program prepares you to design and develop Web sites.
  • Train to become a Web Master
  • Build an e-commerce site
  • Train to install and administer Web Servers
  • Receive individual attention in small classes

Web Technology is where you want to be!

The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a heavy increase in computer-related occupations in the next decade.

Are you interested?
If you are interested in transferring to a four-year college or university to pursue a baccalaureate program you should review the classes you need to take to earn an Associate in Science Computer Information Systems.
