Associate of Applied Science in Welding

The Business and Office Technology program offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business and Office Technology (BOFT) with three areas of emphasis in which students can gain experience in specialty areas of Executive Office Professional, Lega

The Welding Program trains students in the fundamentals of industrial welding processes using the American Welding Society (AWS) Schools Excelling through National Skills Standards Education (SENSE) program guidelines. This program provides three separate levels of training: Entry Level; Level II – Advanced Welder; and Level III – Expert Welder. Students have the opportunity to obtain AWS certification through the AWS Test Site at Clovis Community College.  Upon successful program completion and AWS certification, students are entered into the AWS National Registry and receive a certificate from AWS. Some of the career fields available with this training are Combination Welder, Pipe Welder, Structural Welder, Welding Technician, Repair Welder, Contract Welder, Small Business Owner, Manufacturing, Construction, Engineering, Education, Fabrication, and Dairy/Feedlot Fabrication.
