Liberal Arts

An Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts is perfect for students who plan on transferring to  four-year colleges and universities. This program allows students to accumulate transfer credit hours while exploring broad subjects or specific academic areas.

This program is designed for students who seek not to declare a major immediately but who wish to complete an associate degree as a foundation for a future bachelors degree. Students will learn many fundamental skills and attributes essential in a competitive job market.

Topics Covered:

  • Effective oral and written communication
  • The ability to identify and define problems and tasks
  • The ability to think independently and creatively

The Liberal Arts program at CCC consists of 67-68 credit hours. Students enrolled full-time typically complete this program in four semesters.
