CSS Computer Lab

 

CCC has a new open computer lab in the Center for Student Success (CSS) in Room 171! The lab is available for any of your computer needs. In order to protect our equipment, no food or open beverages are allowed. These items may be left at the entrance to pick up when you leave.

You May:

• Access the internet
• Compose a document
• Build a PowerPoint
• Scan and print a document
• Check out a laptop

Our Equipment:

• Twenty-eight workstations (PCs)
• Microsoft Office 2010 and 2013 Professional
• Windows 8 (select few)
• Black & White Printer
• Color Laser Printer
• Document Scanner

Assistance Available

Student workers are available to assist with general computer access skills. Classroom assignment help is referred to the Tutoring Center.

Access is EASY

Simply present your Student ID card at the check-in counter.  You have access to the lab on a first-come, first-served basis during any semester in which you are currently enrolled.

Hours of Operation

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 - 4:30 pm

Policies

CCC has an Information Technology Policy, which governs the use of laptops and student email. The Center for Student Success also has a Laptop Loan Policy. All campus computer  users are responsible for using the computing systems in an effective, efficient and lawful manner.
