Admissions

Student receiving help in Admissions at CCCThe Admissions and Records department at CCC is a student's first stop in applying to attend classes at the college. CCC is an open admission institution. Once students complete an Admission Application, they are admitted to CCC, assigned a student ID number ("C-Number"), and they are eligible to register for classes immediately.

Admissions and Records will also help students requesting official transcripts for college transfer and employment opportunities.

Enrollment Process:

  1. Apply - If you are a first-time student or if you did not attend CCC the prior semester, you will need to complete an Admission Application. There are three ways to apply to CCC:
  2. Assess - You will need to take an Accuplacer Assessment in the Testing Center if you are enrolling for the first time in courses with a math component, a writing component, or in courses with extensive reading. Your Accuplacer scores help your advisor select the best courses to meet your needs.
  3. Advise - An advisor can help you schedule your courses, provide information about your transfer options. If you are a first-time, degree-seeking student, or if you are receiving financial aid or veteran's benefits, you must meet with an advisor prior to registering for courses.
  4. Register - You can register online or in person by completing the Registration Form in the Admissions and Records Office. Your account balance can be paid in person at the Cashiers Window in the Business Office or online in your student Pathway account through TouchNet.
