Intro
The study of the past is important to understand--it helps us to understand where we came from and how we can become better people. It is like a painting, as all parts work together to create an amazing picture. Some pieces of history are messing and we have our "not so shiny" moments, but it is important to learn from those moments so we can create a better environment for ourselves and those who come after us.
