                              Privacy of Student Records
                              
                              Clovis Community College adheres to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
                                 of 1974. In compliance with FERPA, eligible students have the right to review their academic records and limit disclosure
                                 of information from the records. Clovis Community College has defined “public directory
                                 information,” as it pertains to students, to contain the following elements: student’s
                                 name, address, date of birth, dates of attendance, major field of study, classification,
                                 degrees and awards received, and most recent previous school attended. This information
                                 is available to the public and can be released unless a written request from the student
                                 to withhold this information is on file in the Admissions and Records Office.
                              
                              Request forms may be obtained in the Admissions and Records Office and must be submitted
                                 by the last day of registration in order to be honored for that semester. This request
                                 will be in effect until rescinded in writing by the student.

                              The Student Right-to-Know Act requires disclosure of the completion
or graduation rates of certificate and degree-seeking students
to all prospective and enrolled students. This report is compiled
by July 1 of each year. Copies of the report can be viewed on this website's section
                                 for the office of Institutional Research.

                              Safety Data Sheet
                              
                              Information regarding chemicals located on campus.
                              
                              Per OSHA law, all chemicals stored at Clovis Community College, must have a Safety
                                 Data Sheet (SDS), available for viewing to anyone on campus.  Safety Data Sheets have
                                 emergency information for first aid, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), and handling
                                 of all chemicals used on campus.
                              
                              Copyright Infringement Policy
                              
                              Clovis Community College respects copyright laws and insists that its faculty, staff,
                                 and students do likewise. Copyright infringement and illegally downloading copyrighted content such as software, database files, documentation, articles, images/graphic
                                 files, or downloaded information will not be tolerated. Users will not include copyrighted content in email, documentation, website, etc. unless evidence exists that Clovis
                                 Community College has the right to distribute, reproduce, or display that copyrighted
                                 material.
