Clovis Community College Earns 2022-23 Military Spouse Friendly® School Designation

Clovis Community College recently earned recognition as a 2022-23 Military Spouse Friendly® School. Since 2009, this recognition, “has been a reliable resource for military spouses and has set a standard for higher education institutions to provide the best post-secondary education experiences for spouses of service members.”

“We are proud to receive the Military Spouse Friendly® School designation. Clovis Community College prides itself on providing a Caring Campus and exceptional academic opportunities for the spouses of those in the military serving our country,” said CCC President, Dr. Charles Nwankwo.

Institutions earning the Military Spouse Friendly® School designation were evaluated using data sources from federal agencies and survey information to create a guide for military spouses looking to further their education. Scoring factors included total MFS rating, academic credibility, academic support, career planning resources, flexibility, military family supports, campus supports, federal approvals, and population percentages and outcomes.

Earlier this spring, CCC was also named a Silver Military Friendly® School for the 2022-23 academic year.
