Give to CCC

An investment in Clovis Community College is truly an investment in the future of Clovis and the region. Consider choosing a gift suited to furthering your financial objectives while benefiting the college.

Methods of giving include:

  • Cash Gifts: This method is attractive because any donation of cash that is postmarked prior to December 31 is allowed as an income tax deduction for that year.
  • Life Insurance: This gift offers the appeal of making a substantial deferred contribution, but the donor can take an immediate tax deduction equal to the “value” of the policy.
  • Personal Property: Gifts such as books and works of art may be tax-deductible depending on the appraised value and how the College will use the gift.
  • Deferred Gifts: Commonly referred to as a Charitable Remainder Trust, this gift provides the donor with a lifetime income as well as an income tax-deduction. Examples of this form of giving includes the Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust and Charitable Remainder Unitrust. Consult your accountant or attorney if you are considering making a gift of this nature.
  • Endowments: An endowed gift is one in which the principal is never used. only the interest from the initial donation is identified for a designated purpose. A goal of the CCC Foundation Board is to establish a secure endowment fund that will ensure long-term growth and stability for the College.
