Thanks for your interest in the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, and welcome to the Alpha Tau Nu Chapter link. Membership in Phi Theta Kappa formally recognizes your academic achievement and provides access to unique tools to help you meet your academic and career goals.

The CCC Alpha Tau Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa meets at every other Friday.

Active members of Phi Theta Kappa obtain skills through participation in our four Hallmarks:

  1. Scholarship
  2. Leadership
  3. Fellowship
  4. Service.

Our Mission

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa will provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

Criteria for Membership

  • Prospective members must have a 3.5 average or above and must have completed 12 credit hours at the college level to qualify for enrollment.
  • You may become a provisional member with a GPA of lower than 3.2.
  • Interviews will be held for anyone who wants to become a provisional member.
