Educational Plans

Dual Credit Educational Plans

In an effort to ensure that students have the best possible advising for the dual credit efforts, educational plans have been implemented and will be required beginning Fall 2017.  Students can choose from one of the following educational plans.  High school students should contact their high school counselor for setting up an education plan and more information on registering for classes. 

• 4-Year Academic Bound/STEM - Students who wish to go to a 4-year college and plan to major in a STEM related field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) should select this education plan.
• 4-Year Academic Bound/Non-STEM - Students who wish to go to a 4-year college and plan to major in a Non-STEM related field, such as liberal arts, communication, etc. should select this education plan.
• Allied Health Programs - Students who wish to apply for an allied health program such as Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Physical Therapist Assistant should select this education plan. 
• Career Technical Education - Students who want to gain technical skills that allow them to gain an industry certificate and/or go straight to work should select this education plan.  (CTE options include: Automotive, Emergency Medical Services, Fundamentals of Game Design, COMPTIA Certificates, Healthcare Assistant (CNA), Electrical Maintenance, Nail Tech, and Welding.)
