New Student System Coming Soon

A New Student Information System (SIS) is Coming! 

To improve the overall student experience and better support student success, Clovis Community College is transitioning to a new Student Information System (SIS). The new system will provide a more integrated and streamlined way to manage student information and academic processes across the College.

The SIS will support key areas of the student experience, including admissions and applications, registration and records, curriculum and academic structure, and student financial processes. This transition represents an important step toward creating more connected, efficient, and user-friendly processes for our students, faculty, and staff.

 

As a Student, What Does This Mean for Me?

The system you use will depend on when you plan to attend classes at CCC.

Spring 2027 or Summer 2027 

No changes. Business as usual.

If you plan to attend classes Janurary through July 2027, you will continue to use the current system for admissions, registration, and other student processes. You do not need to do anything differently.

Fall 2027

Your application will be completed in Workday.

If you plan to attend classes starting August 2027, you will complete your CCC application through the new Workday Student system. Additional information about the transition and what you need to do will be provided as we get closer to implementation.

Timeline

October 1, 2026 — Fall 2027 Applications Open
The Fall 2027 application will be available in Workday Student for new students planning to attend CCC in Fall 2027.

Students planning to attend Spring 2027 or Summer 2027 (January - July 2027) will continue to apply through the Legacy system (Banner).

November 16–20, 2026 — Mock Semester
Students will be invited to participate in a Mock Semester, an opportunity to test the new student system in a simulated semester environment. Student participation and feedback will help CCC identify issues, improve processes, and ensure the system is ready to support students.

May 3, 2027 — Student Transition to Workday
All students will begin using Workday Student for student information and academic processes. Additional information and guidance will be provided to help students prepare for the transition.

Mock Semester is Coming Soon!
Mock Semester, November 16–20, 2026, is an opportunity for current students to preview and test Workday Student before it launches. You’ll have the chance to explore the new system, try out student processes, and provide feedback about your experience.  Your participation will help us identify what works, what may be confusing, and what information students need as we move to the new system.
 
Fill out the Student Mock Semester Participation Form to be a part of the plannign process.
